Your daily calorie and macro numbers on the Coach tab are estimated from your goal, bodyweight, height, and how much you train — not from food you log, because BulkForged doesn't track food.
Log a bodyweight and your height in Settings and the Nutrition card fills in: a maintenance calorie estimate is adjusted up for building muscle, up slightly for getting stronger, or down for losing weight, then split into protein, fat, and carb ranges. Protein runs highest when you're in a deficit, since it's what protects the muscle you've built while you cut. If you've set a diet style — balanced, low-carb, or keto — the fat and carb split changes to match it, while your calorie target stays driven by your goal. Keto is the one exception on protein: it moderates the top of your protein range down to 2.0 g per kg of bodyweight, which is standard keto practice.
The numbers also move with your day: a rest day sits lower, a training day adds back roughly what that session burns (either logged already, estimated from your recent history at that routine, or your general activity level if there's no history yet), and a deload day counts as training — it's never treated as a step down. Everything rounds to a clean number, and figures are always shown as a range to aim at over the week, not a target to hit exactly every single day. None of this is medical advice.
On a keto diet, strength gains can climb a little slower — that's presented as a trade-off you're choosing, never as something going wrong. The same "no failure framing" applies across every goal: on a weight-loss goal, holding your strength steady while eating in a deficit is framed as a genuine win, not a stall.
