How do drop sets work?
If you know ahead of time that you want a drop set after a lift, plan it right in the routine editor: set a row's type to Drop and pick how much lighter it should be — the weight is worked out for you from that set's working weight, so a progressive overload bump moves the drop with it automatically. It's excluded from progressive overload, records and weekly volume, exactly like a drop set added mid-workout — the exercise keeps one working weight, so overload keeps running on it.
Pyramid-style exercises, where every set uses a genuinely different weight rather than one lighter drop, are still logged as custom per-set exercises: you enter the weight and reps for each individual set rather than following one "working weight" for the whole exercise. Because there's no single working weight to progress, automatic progressive overload skips these exercises — they're yours to tune by feel, set by set, the same way you'd run them on paper.
