Reach this from 🏆 Attempt a record on Workouts. It's a dedicated space for testing a single heavy lift against your standing record — no routine, no rep targets, just you and the bar.
Pick a lift you've trained; the screen shows your current record — the heaviest weight you've ever lifted for it — as the number to beat. Enter a weight, then log the result: Made the lift ✓ counts as a genuine single, Missed ✗ logs it as a miss without counting against you anywhere else in the app — a missed attempt is kept in your history for reference but is invisible to your progressive-overload targets and doesn't affect your recovery numbers. Keep attempting as many singles as you want in one session; each one lists below with its result.
Beat your standing record and it's celebrated immediately, right there on the screen. You may also see a training estimate — "training suggests ~X" — based on your recent reps and weight; that's an estimate, not a record, and it's never celebrated the way an actual heavier single is.
Finish & save keeps every attempt from this session in your history. Leaving before logging even one attempt saves nothing, so there's no harm in backing out if you change your mind.
