Progressive overload app: finish a workout, see what goes up

What happens in BulkForged when you finish a workout: tap Finish & save and you get a Workout complete summary. The Next time card tells you how many of your lifts go up and names each weight that rises. If you beat a record, a pop-up lists it, and under Your next workout you can tap Remind me.

Logging your workouts is free. The app updating your targets for you is part of Coaching, which comes with a free trial.

It runs on 90+ Garmin watches too: log your sets on your wrist, and the session lands in the app on your phone.

In this episode, we'll look at what happens when you finish a workout, and how it sets up your next one.

Alright, let's get started.

When I'm done, I tap Finish & save.

You get a Workout complete summary with your totals.

Then there's the Next time card.

It tells you how many of your lifts go up.

Here it says "All 4 of your lifts go up next time."

And when a weight goes up, it names it: "Barbell Bench Press moves up to 235 lb."

And if you beat any of your records, a pop-up lists them.

Today it says "2 New Personal Records!"

And under Your next workout, I tap Remind me to get a reminder.

If nothing's on the calendar, it says Schedule it instead.

So that's how your targets keep moving after each workout.

Next up, picking a program or building your own.

The link's in the description.
