Does BulkForged work on the Garmin Forerunner 970?
Yes. BulkForged's free watch app runs on the Forerunner 970. It runs a whole gym workout from your wrist, with your phone left in the locker.
What does BulkForged do on the Forerunner 970?
- Shows the next set before you lift: the exercise, the weight and the reps.
- Logs each set in a few presses: confirm the weight, then the reps.
- Starts the rest timer on its own and buzzes when it ends.
- Runs the whole workout offline. It uploads the workout when the watch has a connection.
- Lets you jump to another exercise when a machine is taken, and brings you back to the one you passed.

Do I need the touchscreen?
No. Every step works with the buttons, and on the Forerunner 970 a swipe up or down also changes a number.
- START confirms and moves on.
- UP and DOWN change the weight or reps.
- BACK steps back. From the set overview it opens the workout menu, where you can jump to another exercise.
How do I set it up on the Forerunner 970?
- Install BulkForged on your Android phone from Google Play.
- Install the free BulkForged watch app on the Forerunner 970 from Garmin's Connect IQ store.
- In the phone app, open Settings, then Account & watch, then Add your watch, and tap Generate pairing code. Pairing needs a BulkForged account.
- On the watch, open BulkForged, choose Pair watch and enter the code.
- Start a routine from the watch.
Does it count my reps?
