Does Hevy work with Garmin?

No. Hevy has no Garmin watch app, and Hevy says so itself.

What Hevy says

Hevy's help centre has an article titled "Hevy and Garmin Integration Update: Why It's Not Possible Yet". We read it on 17 September 2026. In short:

• Hevy applied for access to Garmin's developer programme.
• The article says Garmin rejected that application.
• Garmin pointed Hevy to Connect IQ, which is how Garmin watch apps are built.
• Hevy declined that route. The article says it does not meet Hevy's standards of user experience.

So this is not a bug on your watch, and no setting fixes it.

What still works with Hevy

• You can log in Hevy on your phone while the watch records a Strength activity for heart rate.
• The two records stay separate. Your sets live in Hevy and your heart rate lives in Garmin Connect.

What logs sets on a Garmin today

Three options put your sets on the wrist. Details for each are in Best strength training apps for Garmin watches.

• Garmin's built-in Strength activity. No app needed. It counts reps from wrist movement and lets you enter the weight after each set.
• Gravl. iPhone and Android, with a Connect IQ watch app that mirrors the workout on the phone.
• BulkForged. Android, with a Connect IQ watch app that runs the workout on the watch itself.

How BulkForged handles it

BulkForged is our app. It took the Connect IQ route.

• The watch shows the target weight and reps for each set.
• You log a set in three presses.
• The rest timer starts on its own and vibrates at zero.
• The workout runs offline on the watch and syncs to the phone later.
• After the session, the app sets your next targets and records why each one moved.

The limits are real, so check them first:

• Android only today. iPhone users can join the waitlist.
• Colour-screen watches only: fēnix 6 and later, epix 2, Enduro, MARQ, tactix, quatix, D2 Mach 1 Pro, and Forerunner 255, 265, 955, 965 and 970.
• It does not import your Hevy history.
